The Washington Court House downtown business association, Main Street Fayette is a member supported, nonprofit organization created by, funded by and comprised of business owners, business leaders and other parties invested in working together to ensure a vibrant future for the businesses and residents of Downtown WCH. We are currently a dozen members strong and governed by a volunteer Board of Directors.
Here are four ways that MSF supports small businesses.
An influential representative that listens to its members and is a resource and liaison that advocates for members with local officials to ensure a prosperous business community.
Bi-monthly meetings held the first Wednesday of every other month (Jan, March, May, July, Sept, Nov) provide an opportunity for members to connect through networking. During the meetings, we inform and educate our members on topics relevant to sustaining a healthy, well-rounded and profitable downtown. During non-meeting months, members will stay informed through the MSF newsletter.
Communicating vital information to members concerning civic actions, events and issues that affect local businesses. It provides an opportunity for small business owners to stay in front of issues that may affect their business long term.
An independent organization with a strong, cohesive voice that frequently advocates for our members on issues that affect downtown businesses. We work towards the common goal of thriving economy based on cooperation between local businesses, governmental agencies and the residential community.
